Apply or Enroll at Pontotoc Technology Center

High School Enrollment Information:

High school students living in the technology center district who attend a public, private, parochial, charter, or home school are eligible to attend tuition free. If you have questions, contact your local high school counselor or call the PTC Counselor at 580-310-2200. Partner School Districts are: Ada, Allen, Byng, Latta, Roff, Sasakwa, Stonewall, Tupelo, and Vanoss.

Post-Secondary (Adult) Student Admission Information:

Full-Time Programs Post-Secondary students are admitted according to space in the programs. Most programs begin in August and conclude in May of each year. Occasionally there are a few openings and admission is made at the beginning of a new quarter.

Some programs are adult only such as the Practical Nursing, Paramedic, and Fire Training Academy. These programs have separate admission procedures and length of course.

Please follow the procedures outlined below to be considered for admission for all other full-time programs.

Steps for Post-Secondary Admission:

  • Complete an application for admission by clicking the button below, chose your program, and click "Register."

  • Schedule and take an assessment.
    NOTE: You may provide your ACT score of 19 or higher (if ACT was taken within the past 5 years) in lieu of taking assessment.

  • Interview - please note, an interview can not be scheduled until your assessment is complete (or ACT score is provided).

  • Apply for Financial Aid

  • If you have completed all of the above steps and there is space in the program, you will be sent a letter telling you the date and time to report to class.

Applications are subject to review. When you register through this link, it starts your application process. Students are accepted based on a variety of factors. Your interviewer can answer any questions you may have.

Short-Term Classes

Short-Term programs offer training for those seeking a new career, or who want to enhance existing skills in a minimal amount of time. Courses are offered part-time during the day, evening, and weekends.
