Attention High School Seniors - The high school EMT class is still accepting applications for next school year and is open to seniors only. If you’re interested in seeking employment in emergency medical services or hope to gain a start with medical training that can be used in other medical fields like nursing or pre-med. after high school, this is the class for you!  Find information about the class at: https://www.pontotoctech.edu/o/ftp/page/emt-fire. If you are interested in enrolling for next year, call 580-310-2200 and ask for Mr. Moore or Mrs. Johns. They can answer questions - and when you're ready, they'll help you with the paperwork needed to get enrolled.

The HVAC program at PTC is an introduction to air-conditioning and refrigeration, exploring career opportunities in the HVAC/R industry, personal safety and work practices, and personal protective equipment.  The program is Oklahoma Construction Industries Board Approved. Classes begin the middle of August and end the middle of May the following year. Applications for adult students are still open. Today is the end of the year picnic for Full-Time Programs at PTC. The grill is hot, the food is free, and the games are hopping. A big thanks to Irving Center for lending us your corn hole set, oversized Connect Four and Jenga sets! This picnic is just one of many opportunities for all students, regardless of which high school they attend, to get together to build friendships and connections to carry with them wherever they go next!

ADVANCED FIREFIGHTER ACADEMY (785 HRS) Are you interested in seeking employment in Fire, EMS? Our 20 week academy can provide you with the basic skills for these careers. You must have a High School Diploma or GED to be eligible. The academy consists of 785 hours of training and hands-on experience. The academy starts mid July 2023 and classes run from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. PT Test and Interviews will be scheduled in June. Contact PTC for the cost of the Academy (580) 310-2248. Students may apply for financial aid by calling Jannice Williams at (580) 310-2223. Physical fitness and medical evaluations will be required. Four of our Automotive students recently competed in the Oklahoma Top Tech challenge sponsored by UTI. Left to right, Tyler Hill and Jaxon Wood took 5th place, and Mason Holland and Hunter Price took 4th. Each student walked away from the event with a $1,000 scholarship.
