Our Practical Nursing students joined our Biotech class this morning as Biotech students present the process of cellular respiration and the creation of ATP ("the powerhouse of the cell"). The resulting collaborative discussion helped the students translate for each other what's happening at the cellular level into real-life healthcare scenarios (and vice versa).

Thanks to Bob Billen with the Oklahoma Propane Education and Safety Commission for stopping by today to visit with our HVAC students about the propane equipment we added to our training this year. Among other things, he shared some of the differences and/or challenges professionals may encounter when in the field. The PTC HVAC program is a comprehensive training program preparing future HVAC professionals. "With the addition of propane to our curriculum, we hope to help with post-graduation propane installation licensing for students," said Michal Beach, PTC HVAC Instructor.
